RFI Responses

Construction Communicator helps you quickly and easily manage RFIs. Here's how.

A contractor who has a problem (e.g., a dimension on the architect's drawings) sends an RFI, using the online construction management software's forms.

The architect can answer the RFI directly or route it to a consultant for design input, which the architect can receive online.

Construction Communicator's RFI Response form, a basic element of contract administration

The architect can then submit the response, including the consultants input, for the contractor and all the other team members to see. All this is done online.

Automatic emails notify recipients that new RFIs have been posted online. The information logs are updated in real time and all users see identical information.

RFIs are automatically displayed on a graphical, online calendar, which helps track the status of outstanding items. Each item is linked to a response or comment page for processing the document.

Users can easily toggle between the summary log/calendar information and individual screens to view detailed information.

Other construction documents, including submittals, ASIs and change orders can also be submitted and tracked online.
